Synopsis
Hai Cohen dokumentiert seine Auseinandersetzung mit dem Unfall, der vor neun Jahren zu seiner Lähmung geführt hat. Zum ersten Mal läßt er Trauer zu und knüpft damit ein schmales Band zwischen den Fragmenten seiner Erinnerung und seinem Jetzt. Mit nüchterner Stimme beschreibt Hai Cohen Gefühle, Schmerzen, Erinnertes. Die statischen Bilder aus seinem Alltag sind von einer ebensolchen nüchternen Klarheit und Konzentration. Schließlich nimmt er die Kamera auf die Schulter und eröffnet eine neue Perspektive. |

Synopsis
Hai Cohen documents his struggle to come to terms with the accident that nine years ago led to his paralysis. For the first time, he allows himself to mourn, and thus forms a narrow link between the fragments of his memory and his present. In a sober voice, Hai Cohen describes his feelings, his pain, his memories. The static images from his everyday life are marked by an equally sober clarity and concentration. At the end, he places the camera on his shoulders and opens up a new perspective. |
